New, road-legal tyres only. Balanced, new valve, pressures set, old tyre taken away, checked before we leave.
Pay monthly on two or more tyres, so a blowout does not have to wait for payday.
Nearly every call we take is one of these four. Whichever is yours, the answer is the same: send the size, get a price, and a van is on its way.

Send your reg on WhatsApp. We price it, give you a time and fit it on the drive while you have your breakfast. No spare needed, no tow truck, no day off work.

YourNewTyres is a 24-hour mobile tyre fitting service covering the North West of England and North Wales. A fitter comes to your home, workplace or the roadside, supplies and fits new tyres from budget to premium brands, balances the wheel and takes the old tyre away. There is no call-out charge, fitting is included in the tyre price, and the average response time measured on our own jobs is around 32 minutes. Call 0300 124 6981 or WhatsApp your tyre size for a price.
Type mobile tyre fitting near me into your phone and you are not looking for a building. You are looking for the fitter who can be at your car soonest. Ours are already on the road across Greater Manchester, Merseyside, Cheshire, Lancashire, Cumbria and North Wales, so the nearest one is usually closer than the nearest tyre bay. Measured across our own jobs, the average is around 32 minutes from your message to a van pulling up. That holds in Manchester, Liverpool, Warrington, St Helens and Preston, and it is not far off in Wrexham, Blackpool, Chester, Bangor and Llandudno. If you can get a phone signal, we can usually get a van to you.

A tyre does not fail at a convenient time. It goes on the school run, on the way to a shift, on the hard shoulder in the rain at half past eleven. We are open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, and our emergency tyre fitting is the same service as our daytime one: same vans, same fitters, same tyre price. Tell us it is urgent when you call 0300 124 6981 and the nearest van is sent to you first. On a live motorway, get everyone behind the barrier before anything else; our motorway fitting page explains what we need from you.

Not every puncture needs a tyre, and we would rather keep you as a customer than sell you one you do not need. A nail or screw in the central three-quarters of the tread can usually be repaired to the British Standard with a proper plug-and-patch from the inside, not a string pushed in from the outside. Damage in the shoulder or sidewall cannot be repaired safely and the tyre has to be replaced, and we will show you why on the tyre itself. Either way the wheel is balanced, the valve checked and the pressures set before we leave.

People in Wrexham, Blackpool, Salford, Preston and Oldham all search for mobile tyre fitting prices, and the reason is the same everywhere: they have been stung by a fitting fee, a valve, a disposal charge and a call-out fee stacked on top of a cheap-looking tyre. We do not do that. Fitting, balancing, a new valve, taking the old tyre away and the trip to you are all inside the tyre price, and there is no call-out charge at any hour. Send your size and you get one figure back on WhatsApp. That figure is what goes on the card machine. If money is tight this month, pay monthly on two or more tyres spreads it.

Cheap does not have to mean nasty. Budget tyres from a real manufacturer such as Landsail or Davanti are safe, legal and right for a car that does short local miles, and we will fit one at your door with the same care as a premium tyre. If you want a step up without paying premium money, Nexen is the mid-range line most of our customers end up on. What we will not do is fit a part-worn, because the saving is small and the risk is not. Where the car earns its keep on the motorway or tows a caravan, we will say so and show you the mid-range and premium options from Hankook, Dunlop, Yokohama, Continental, Bridgestone, Pirelli and Goodyear, with the honest difference in stopping distance and life.

We carry the sizes and load ratings for cars, vans, 4x4s, caravans and motorhomes, and we look after small fleets whose drivers cannot afford a day off the road. Seized or lost locking wheel nut? We carry the kit for locking wheel nut removal, so a missing key does not turn a ten-minute job into a recovery truck. Wheel alignment and TPMS sensors are done at the kerb too. We are part of Fastlane Autocare, approved by the AA and RAC, and we have been fitting tyres on driveways across the North West long enough to know which estates have the potholes.

Cracked or perished tyresPlenty of tread but cracking sidewalls. Why age matters as much as miles.Read the guide →No tread gauge? A 20p coin tells you in ten seconds whether a tyre is legal or a fine waiting to happen.
The legal minimum is 1.6mm of tread across the middle three-quarters of the tyre. Under that you stop far later in the wet, fail the MOT and risk a £2,500 fine and three points per tyre. The outer band of a 20p is about 1.6mm wide, so the coin is your gauge.
Tread is what pushes water out from under the tyre. At 3mm you are already losing wet grip, which is why most tyre makers say change at 3mm rather than waiting for the limit, and why how long your tyres last depends as much on pressures and alignment as on miles.
A tyre can look fine from the kerb and be bald on the inside shoulder, so check both edges. Tracking that is slightly out wears one side fast; if you find it, book tracking with the new tyres. Look for cracks and bulges and anything stuck in the tread: a nail in the centre can often be a puncture repair rather than a new tyre. Replace close pairs together and put the new ones on the back.
We check all four on every visit and fit on the spot if one is close. Not sure what you are looking at? Send us a photo on WhatsApp and we will tell you straight.

The questions drivers across the North West and North Wales actually ask us, answered straight.
To change a flat tyre: stop on firm level ground away from traffic, put the handbrake and hazards on, loosen the wheel nuts half a turn, jack the car at the manufacturer's jacking point, remove the nuts and wheel, fit the spare, tighten the nuts in a star pattern, lower the car and torque them fully.
Call us instead if you have no spare or only a sealant kit, if the locking wheel nut key is missing, or if you are on a motorway or a narrow lane. We bring the right tyre and fit it where the car stands, usually within around 32 minutes. See what to do with a flat tyre, flat tyre with no spare and locking wheel nut removal, or call 0300 124 6981.
With YourNewTyres the fitted price is the price of the tyre. Fitting, balancing, a new valve and disposal are built in and there is no call-out charge, day or night, anywhere in the North West or North Wales.
What you pay therefore depends on two things: the size printed on your sidewall, and whether you choose a budget, mid-range or premium tyre. A budget tyre for a small hatchback costs far less than a premium tyre for a heavy SUV. Send your registration on WhatsApp and we reply with one fixed figure for your car, and that figure is what you pay when the van arrives. Two or more tyres can be spread over the months with pay monthly at 0% interest. Prefer to talk? Call 0300 124 6981.
No. Once you add the garage's separate charges for fitting, balancing, a valve and disposal, plus your own time and fuel, mobile fitting with YourNewTyres usually costs the same or less, and there is no call-out fee.
A tyre bay advertises the bare tyre and adds the rest at the till. We roll every one of those into the tyre price and bring the van to your drive, workplace or the roadside. The cheapest headline price online is rarely the cheapest tyre once it is on the car. Ask for a fitted quote across all three tiers and compare totals, not stickers. We are approved by the AA and RAC and use the same calibrated balancers a workshop bolts to its floor. See how mobile tyre fitting works.
Around 32 minutes on average across the North West and North Wales, measured on our own jobs. We give you a real arrival time when you book, and the fitter messages when he is a few minutes away.
The exact time depends on where the nearest van is and how busy the day is. If you are stranded with a blowout or a tyre you cannot drive on, say so when you call 0300 124 6981 and you go to the front of the queue. For worn tyres or an MOT advisory, pick a time that suits you. We cover Manchester, Liverpool, Preston, Chester, Wrexham and the towns between, 24 hours a day.
You can drive a short distance slowly if the tyre is still holding air, but leave the nail in, keep under 30mph and get it looked at the same day. Pulling the nail out releases the air at once.
Whether the tyre can be saved depends on where the nail sits. In the central three-quarters of the tread it can normally be repaired to the British Standard with a plug-and-patch from inside, for a fraction of the cost of a tyre. In the shoulder or sidewall it cannot be repaired safely and must be replaced. If the tyre is losing air fast, do not drive on it at all: a mobile fitter comes to the car, so there is no need to limp to a garage. Our guide to a nail in your tyre shows how to tell which you have, or send us a photo on WhatsApp.
Yes, if the puncture is in the central three-quarters of the tread, no bigger than 6mm, and the tyre has not been driven on flat. A British Standard repair, a combined plug and patch fitted from inside the tyre, is permanent and safe.
Repairs are not allowed in the shoulder or sidewall, on tyres worn to 1.6mm, or where the inner liner shows damage from running flat. Cheap external string plugs from a kit are a get-you-home fix only. Our fitters take the tyre off the wheel, inspect the inside, repair it properly and rebalance the wheel, all at your door. If it cannot be repaired we say so and fit a new tyre there and then. See puncture repairs and our guide to a slow puncture.
Tracking and wheel alignment are the same job: setting the wheel angles so they point exactly where the steering does. A front-wheel tracking check is one of the cheapest jobs on a car; full four-wheel laser alignment costs more because it measures camber and thrust angle too.
Get it checked whenever a tyre has worn unevenly, the car pulls to one side, the steering wheel sits off-centre or you have hit a pothole hard. Misalignment can scrub a new tyre out in a few thousand miles, so new tyres on a car that is out of line is money wasted. Wheel balancing, which stops vibration, is a different job and is included every time we fit a tyre. Ask when you book and we will confirm the price for your car. See wheel alignment and tracking explained.
A good-quality tyre on a normally driven car lasts around 20,000 to 30,000 miles. Hard-driven front tyres on heavy or powerful cars can be gone in 10,000; a gently driven rear can pass 40,000.
Budget tyres sit at the lower end and premium tyres at the upper end, which is a large part of what you pay for. Under-inflation, misaligned tracking and lots of tight town driving all shorten tyre life. Age matters as much as miles: rubber hardens and cracks after six or seven years even with plenty of tread, so check the four-digit date code on the sidewall and look for cracking. Our guide to how long tyres last covers the wear patterns that point to another fault, and we check all four tyres free on every visit.
Premium tyres are worth it if you drive motorway miles, a heavy SUV or anything that tows: they stop several car lengths shorter in the wet from 60mph, last longer and run quieter. For a low-mileage car around town, a budget tyre from a proper manufacturer is safe, legal and sensible.
Most family cars sit happily on mid-range brands such as Hankook, Dunlop and Yokohama, which is usually where the value is. Every tyre we fit is new and E-marked, whatever the tier. Tell us the car and how you use it and we will say which tier your driving actually needs, not the one with the biggest margin. Compare budget, mid-range and premium, or performance tyres if the car deserves them.
It is legal in the UK to fit different brands on the same axle as long as both tyres are the same size, load index, speed rating and construction. It is not recommended, and mixing cross-ply and radial on one axle is illegal.
Two tread patterns grip differently in the wet, which you feel as a pull under braking, and stability control works best with matched tyres. Replace in pairs across an axle and put the newer pair on the rear, whatever the drive layout, because rear grip is what stops a spin. If you only need one tyre we match the brand and pattern already on the other side wherever we can. Our guides to mixing tyres and load index and speed rating cover the detail.
There is no legal requirement for winter tyres in the UK, and for most drivers in the North West a good all-season tyre is the better buy because our winters are wet and mild rather than snowy.
Winter tyres come into their own below seven degrees and on snow and ice, so they make sense on the Pennine tops, in the Peak District or in Snowdonia, or if you cannot afford to be stuck for a day. All-season tyres carry the three-peak snowflake mark, cope with a cold snap and save you storing a second set of wheels. In the wet, tread depth matters more than tyre type: at 3mm you have already lost a good deal of grip. See winter tyres in the UK, the best all-season tyres and our winter tyres fitted at your door.
Yes. A tyre fails the MOT below 1.6mm of tread across the central three-quarters, or with a cut, bulge, exposed cord or wrong size. On the road each illegal tyre carries a fine of up to £2,500 and three penalty points, so four bald tyres can mean a ban.
Tyres close to the limit are recorded as an advisory rather than a fail, and the 20p test above tells you where you stand: if the coin's outer band shows, the tyre is at or below the limit. Send us the advisory sheet and your registration and we will fit the right tyres at your door before the retest. See cracked and perished tyres and our guide to UK tyre law, or call 0300 124 6981.
Part worn tyres are legal to sell in the UK only with at least 2mm of tread across the full width, no cuts, bulges or internal damage, an EC approval mark and the words PART WORN moulded on the sidewall. Many on sale fail those rules, and you cannot see how the tyre was treated before.
A part worn with 3mm left is already close to the point where wet grip falls away, so the saving per mile is far smaller than the sticker suggests. Every tyre YourNewTyres fits is new, from budget upwards, and the fitted price includes balancing, a new valve and disposal with no call-out charge, which often makes a new budget tyre cheaper than a part worn one from a tyre bay. Read the full legal test in part worn tyres.
Yes. Cracking in the sidewall or between the tread blocks means the rubber has hardened and is losing its bond; the tyre can fail suddenly at speed even with plenty of tread left. Fine surface crazing is a warning, deep cracks are a replace-now fault.
Perishing comes from age, sunlight, under-inflation and long periods parked, which is why caravan, motorhome and low-mileage tyres crack before they wear out. Check the four-digit date code on the sidewall: most makers say replace at six to ten years regardless of tread. Keep tyres at the right pressure and out of the sun where you can, and never use tyre shine that contains solvents. Our guide to cracked and perished tyres shows what to look for, and we check all four on every visit. Send us a photo on WhatsApp if you are unsure.
A tyre pressure sensor is usually a fraction of the cost of a tyre and is fitted in the same visit, because the tyre has to come off the wheel to reach it. We confirm the price for your car when you send the registration.
Sensors have a sealed battery that lasts around five to ten years, so on a car of that age a warning light that will not clear with correct pressures usually means a dead sensor rather than a puncture. We fit and programme replacement TPMS sensors at your door, and if you are having new tyres anyway it is the cheapest moment to do it. A permanently lit tyre pressure warning is an MOT fail on cars first registered from 2012, so do not leave it. Our guide to TPMS sensor replacement explains the light and how to reset it.
Electric cars do not legally need special tyres, but they need the right ones: an EV is heavier than the petrol equivalent and delivers all its torque at once, so tyres must carry the correct load index and will wear faster if under-specified.
Many makers fit EV-marked tyres with stiffer sidewalls, lower rolling resistance for range and a foam liner to cut noise in a quiet cabin; matching that keeps range and comfort as designed. Check the load index and speed rating on the sidewall and fit at least that, and replace any tired TPMS sensor at the same time. We fit tyres for electric cars at your home or workplace across the North West and North Wales, fitting included in the price. Send your registration on WhatsApp and we will confirm the right size and specification.
